When tea becomes art
A little note on our collaboration with vlawilla — and why it felt so natural to see BySips become part of her soft, playful and visually poetic recipe world.
One of the things we love most about BySips is seeing how our teas move into other people’s rituals, moods and creative universes. Not only as something to drink, but as part of a feeling — a slower moment, a table, a texture, a story.
That is exactly how this collaboration with vlawilla felt. Soft, thoughtful, visually rich and full of imagination.
From the beginning, what drew us to her work was her visual language. There is something very gentle and atmospheric in the way she creates — cozy without feeling heavy, playful without losing elegance, and always with a strong sense of mood.
She may work with recipes, but to us she feels just as much like an artist. The way she transforms simple ingredients into something beautiful and emotionally resonant feels very close to how we think about tea at BySips.
Based in Finland, vlawilla creates content in English and shares a world that feels intimate, calm and quietly magical. What we especially loved was how naturally our teas entered that universe — not as a product placed into a frame, but as something that genuinely belonged there.
Her way of working is rooted in atmosphere, detail and feeling. She has described herself as someone who has always believed that even the simplest ingredients can become something beautiful and meaningful, and that really comes through in what she makes.
We loved seeing how she used our teas as a starting point for new interpretations — turning them into recipe moments that felt both comforting and unexpected. There was a softness to it, but also a clear creative direction. It never felt overworked. It just felt honest, imaginative and very much her.
One of the creations we especially loved was her strawberry Earl Grey milk tea — a beautiful, playful take on a classic. That recipe captured exactly what makes this collaboration feel so right: the ability to take something familiar and give it a new mood, a new texture and a new visual story.
Those are always the collaborations that stay with us. When someone does not simply create content around the tea, but creates a whole feeling around it.
At BySips, we care deeply about the pause around the tea. The small rituals. The visual calm. The sense that tea can be more than a drink — that it can be part of how a moment feels. Seeing someone understand that intuitively is always special.
Working with vlawilla felt inspiring for exactly that reason. She brought her own softness, her own artistic eye and her own emotional world into the collaboration, and it made the tea feel newly alive in a different way.
We are so happy to share a few of the moments she created with BySips. For us, they capture something we love very much — tea as feeling, tea as beauty, tea as a small everyday kind of magic.
Thank you, vlawilla, for bringing BySips into your creative world and for showing our teas through such a soft, thoughtful and beautiful lens.

We love collaborations like this — where tea, creativity, mood and storytelling come together in a way that feels completely natural.
